S.2D students took part in a programme called "If I was an ICH Bearer" Interactive Experience for Students on 6 March. This activity was organised by the History Department and the Social Studies Department. Through storytelling and games, our students have learnt about different local ICH items like the traditional techniques of cheongsam making, patterned band weaving and karat gold jewellery, as well as performing arts like Nanyin and the traditional practice of posting up huichun. The students' awareness of safeguarding Hong Kong’s ICH was raised and they were inspired about the importance of cultural transmission.
