Several enthusiastic members of the Health in Mind Club embarked on a remarkable journey as they visited Kwai Chung Hospital on 3 February. The purpose of the visit was to gain deeper insights into mental illnesses and broaden their knowledge about mental health.

The day began with an engaging talk conducted by experts in the field of mental health. The members listened attentively as they learned about various mental illnesses, their symptoms, and the prevailing misconceptions surrounding them. The talk aimed to dispel stigmas and promote a compassionate understanding of individuals facing mental health challenges.

Following the enlightening talk, the club members were taken on an informative tour of Kwai Chung Hospital. Led by knowledgeable hospital staff, they had the opportunity to explore different areas, including the psychiatric wards. This rare experience provided them with a glimpse into the daily lives of those undergoing treatment for mental health conditions, as well as the specialized facilities and therapies available to support their recovery.
