To obtain a more comprehensive understanding of local poverty, students participated in Love Your Neighbours, an activity organised by the Mission to New Arrivals Limited – School of Poverty Caring on 5 February 2024. The students engaged in cardboard collection in the Yau Tsim Mong District, demonstrating care for the waste picker and extending Lunar New Year wishes to them. Through the activity, students could experience poverty firsthand, so their empathy, compassion and sense of justice could be nurtured. They have also learnt to support the underprivileged and care for others in their daily life.
