Co-organised by the Citizenship and Social Development Department, the Chinese History Department and the History Department, the S.4 study tour to Macau was held on 18th and 24th July respectively. 

By visiting Macau and visited the Commemorative Gallery of the Macau Basic Law and Golden Lotus Square, the students could develop a better understanding of the implementation of  “one country, two systems” in Macau. 

Then, the students went to the Macau Museum and the Macau Science Center, where they could learn more about science knowledge, culture and history of Macau, and conservation work carried out by the government of Macau SAR.

Lastly, the students visited the Ruins of St. Paul and the Senado Square. Not only could they learn about the history of religion in Macau, but they could also experience the blooming tourism industry. Many students also took the opportunity to buy souvenirs for their parents.

The tour enabled the students to gain a fuller understanding of the economic development, history, livelihood and cultural preservation in Macau.
