With Pi (3.14) being the most famous number in Mathematics, our Maths Day was held on 14 March. To let students learn through play, the Maths Department prepared many inspiring activities. During the class teacher period, all students participated in the exhilarating Maths Fun Quiz, which was an Inter-Class Competition. During lunch time, Form 1 and 2 students had fun in 24 Points, an arithmetic competition. At the end of the school day, representatives from each class strived for the best in the Rummikub and Blokus Competitions. Professor Chan Kin Wai from the Department of Statistics of CUHK was also invited to give a talk titled "From big data to smart data". These activities successfully rekindled students’ interest in Maths.
