Lots of our students like reading detective and mystery fiction. To enable students to evaluate fiction and to expose them to various outstanding works, the school library invited Mr. Albert Tam, a local author of this type of fiction and science fiction, to give a speech to students on 23 February.

Mr. Tam introduced some famous detective and mystery fiction from the UK, Japan and Hong Kong as he talked about the evolution of science fiction. He also explained how geographic environment and cultural diversity played a part. The students were greatly inspired and they sought his advice on writing their own fiction.
