On 15 October 2026, we successfully hosted our S.6 CDG Forum, exploring whether the legalisation of private ride-hailing services under Hong Kong’s new licensing framework brings net benefits. 

The forum featured a diverse panel of student representatives portraying key stakeholders, including traditional taxi operators, ride-hailing platform drivers, consumer rights advocates, and transport policy officials.

Students actively engaged with the various perspectives presented, demonstrating their enthusiasm, policy acumen, and critical thinking skills. This forum not only encouraged multifaceted thinking but also highlighted the importance of considering all viewpoints on complex community issues, fostering a rich dialogue that left participants both inspired and informed.
