From 18th to 26th July 2025, our school organised the Germany STEAM and History Study Tour, during which 30 students from S.1 to S.4 visited Munich and Berlin to explore Germany’s technology and history. Students toured technological landmarks such as BMW Motorrad Welt, the German Museum of Technology, Science Center Spectrum, and the Porsche Museum, gaining insights into Germany’s advancements in science and technology. They also visited historical sites including the Reichstag Building, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral, the Berlin Wall’s East Side Gallery, and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, learning about Germany’s past and its influence on modern Europe.
In addition to these visits, students participated in workshops on AI, robotics, and the German language, and experienced travelling on Germany’s efficient train system. Cultural activities included visits to Marienplatz, the Munich Residence, and the Deutsches Museum, while a traditional dinner at Hofbräuhaus provided a taste of German cuisine and culture. Furthermore, visits to the Technical University of Munich and the University of Stuttgart allowed students to interact with local students and gain insights into German academic life.
The tour was a valuable educational experience, helping students broaden their knowledge, appreciate cultural diversity, and develop as confident global citizens.
