From April 21 to April 25, four teachers and twenty-four students participated in an exchange program with our sister school in Xi'an, exploring the city's rich history and modern development. They visited Xi’an Veritas College, where they engaged in traditional Chinese activities such as calligraphy, martial arts, and Guqin, alongside Western golf, fostering friendships with local students through collaborative paper-cutting projects and shared meals.
The group also visited the Terracotta Army, gaining insight into its historical significance, and were impressed by the innovations at Shanxi Automobile Holdings Group in technology and big data. A cable car ride to Huashan showcased breathtaking landscapes, further enriching their experience.
Overall, the trip deepened students' appreciation for traditional Chinese culture while highlighting modern advancements. This successful exchange not only strengthened cross-cultural connections but also inspired a desire for more such opportunities in the future.
