Aiming to raise students' interest in English poetry and encourage artistic and creative expression, the Education Bureau has held the Poetry Remake Competition, where contestants create artwork in response to an English poem written by a Hong Kong poet. With their thoughtful digital paintings, accompanied by an Artist Statement to explain their artistic choices and literary interpretations, 5B Chan Yuet Yi and 4B Wu Ching Ting won the Commendable Awards this year.
