To promote values education and celebrate the resilient spirit of Hong Kong, our school’s Visual Arts and Home Economics departments joined hands with artist Mr Chan Yuk from Breakthrough Art Studio to host the 'Touch of Sound' Community Art Weaving Project Workshop on 24 June 2026.

Together, the artist and our students co-created a large-scale collaborative artwork titled Touch of Sound. Featuring the 'eye' as its core visual motif, the piece symbolizes public reflection on the land and shared aspirations for the future. Using traditional weaving techniques, the project weaves together the emotions and creativity of all participants, while exploring the urban evolution of East Kowloon and Kowloon Bay to foster a deep sense of local connection and community belonging.

The completed artwork will be on display at the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) from July to August this year.
